We've been spending the last several months slowly working our way through watching the 'Northern Exposure' series. It's really quite addictive, and I am amazed at the number and variety of people that enjoy it. It seems to have a broad appeal. We are about half finished the final season, right when they start to right Dr. Joel Fleischman's character out of the show, which would prove to be the shows demise.
So far all you fans out there, tell me who your top three favorite characters are, and who your least favorite character is.

1. Ed Chigliak
2. Chris Stevens
3. Dr. Joel Fleischman

I love Northern Exposure!! I just recently discovered it's on APTN on Wednesday nights and that just made my month. Chris would have to be my favourite. I don't know all of the characters names, but the guy that wants to be a movie producer or writer, young and speaks slowly and thoughtfully? I really like him. I also like the grocery store owner lady.
I don't like Fleischman or O'Connel so much which is odd since they are the main characters.
Ed Chigliak is the movie maker.

First, come on! You can't say Chris, because everybody likes Chris; he's the show's 'cool' guy.
And second, Ed! My goodness.
My top three: Adam, Maurice, and Joel. And Shelley.

I like the supporting characters the best, I think. I don't have any particular order, but I like Shelley, Marilyn, Ed and Adam. They give the show the weirdness that makes it lovable.
