need definition

an organism is "a living complex adaptive system of organs that influence each other in such a way that they function in some way as a stable whole."

and ubiquitous means "existing or being everywhere, esp. at the same time; omnipresent"

but can anyone tell me what is meant by a/an ubiquitous organism?

What's the context? I use ubiquitous to mean all over the place (like Honda Civics, or Starbucks).

It's from a bit of a lame movie called "the cave." Basically, there is a species of creatures that live in the cave, and they are attacker the caver's. While they are still learning about them, they cut off one of it's claws, but the filament like thingies inside the tissue still wriggle, even though it's just an appendage. They said "it ubiquitous."
So I googled "ubiquitous organism" and you get lots of results for organisms that are "ubiquitous", but this seemed to different.
