So I couldn't decide. Didn't lack Brad's lack of response on the whole privatization issue. Didn't like Lorne's drug plan. Didn't like either one's lack of talking about anything agricultural, which is 75% of our province. Don't trust David. etc etc
So, in wanting to still exercise my civil liberty to vote, I contemplated ruining my ballot in some form. I think I did the equivalent...I voted for the Green Party.
Go Greenies!

Argh! I'm with you on this one. My candidates have stopped by or called me so many times to see if they could count on my support. My standard answer is that I still haven't decided. Your reasons of policy dislike are exactly my reasons. Green Party is certainly a thought--I just wonder if it's the right statement to make. I'll see what happens tomorrow in my voting booth!
I would have to agree. The NDP are more liberal than socialist; Brad who has the most to gain didn't say much about anything (the only thing I remember from his campaign is the ad: "and Lorne wants to make it 20" years, it's time for change... I need more reason than that thank you!) And Karwacki? Give me a break. "A vote for me is a vote for the opposition". That's a big if ... there's a good chance the liberals won't be any kind of opposition.
I considered green but I'm with Jen there too. We'll see what happens when I vote. Maybe I should base it solely on the PERSON that is running in my riding ... but that involves some work to find out about them.
We'll see.
I have decided I like minority governments ... less potential to do damage. Therefore my vote was strategic. The polls stated that SK party was most likely going to win a few days before the election so I voted NDP. Turns out the NDP didnÂșt cause a minority government, but my candidate did win, so I guess I did what I set out to do. What do you guys think of proportional representation? My parents were some of the few that voted for it in ON lately. I also blogged about the election (yes I am blogging again). Feel free to comment!
