According to a university study...

...there is a link between the type of music we listen to and our personalities. Here's is a quick summary.
People who listen to...Are
Heavy Metal...Creative and at ease with themselves, gentle
Classical...Creative and at ease with themselves
Jazz...Creative and outgoing with high self-esteem
Country Western...Hard-working but introverted
Rap...Outgoing and far from gentle
Indie...Lack both self-esteem and a work-ethic
Rock and Rap...Rebellious
Opera...Wealthy and well-educated
P.S. I tend to prefer jazz.

I listen to everything there, though not alot of rap and only real country western, not "country" music. And I suppose I don't really go out of my way to listen to opera, but I don't mind it.
So that makes you a creative, gentle, sort of hard working introvert, who is both outgoing and rebellious. At least you're not overly wealthy or educated.
I saw the same report on the National last night. They sure are trying their best to label people.

Great to finally have discovered that generally I "Lack both self-esteem and a work-ethic" but also might have high self-esteem (does that make regular self-esteem?), be creative, a little rebellious and often at ease.
Talk about multiple personalities. ;)
