Well, even though I have now been living in Saskatoon for the better part of three weeks, I still want to finish up my "Things about Regina" series.
This entry is about graffiti. In Regina, there seems to be an influx of building owners that have intentionally graffiti on their property. This stuff that has evidently been commissioned by the building owner, as it is far more than a simple "tag" and is not removed.
This is exterior art, and done well it kinda spruces up the urban landscape. It makes it more interesting, like hanging art in your home. This is only a sampling of what has been done.
Along 13th Ave on a business I can't recall at the moment.
Here are two ladies who didn't appreciate the un-commissioned graffiti on their building. The sign says the Freehouse, but it is actually the back wall of Viet Thai.
On the alley side of the confectionery on 13th Ave.

Wow, who ever knew that graffiti could be so interesting. I know there is one artist in the Europe who has a secret identity and does incredibly large pics that take up the sides of multi-storied buildings. No one knows who he is and they can't catch him/her. They are very good too. Intersting.
GiGi - thanks for the comment. I'd be interested to find out more about this European graffiti artist. Any links?
A painting of fish on wall is very good creation. A huge golden fish and that whole wall make to see in different view to it.
your articles are always awesome, and the design of your website helps to keep it beautiful.
