Hi Mr Klassen,
First, I would like to thank you for your input and suggestions on the recycling programs offered in Regina, specifically the bottle recycling. For future reference, there is an email address to send suggestions that go directly to the solid waste department, which is letstalktrash@regina.ca .
The City of Regina has not made any decisions on the water bottle ban that a number of other Canadian cities are enforcing. For your comments about providing recycling bins along with garbage containers like Saskatoon, I wanted to inform you that we are in the middle of a project called Waste Plan Regina. There are a number of ideas being taken into consideration for this project with one of the main issues being recycling. We are hoping that once this plan is implemented that it will be much easier for the residents of Regina to recycle, whether they are at home or out in the community.
If you have any further comments or questions, feel free to contact me at the information provided below and I will assist the best I can.

Hey! When I was watching a tv program shot in Toronto I saw recycling bins exactly like the ones we have in Saskatoon. I thought that was cool and wanted to share ... that's all.
That's cool. Hopefully Regina will get its act together soon as well.
